This bamboo whisk is handcrafted from a single piece of bamboo and carefully carved into 120 fine tines, a process requiring significant skill and precision.  The higher tine count helps produce a finer microfoam, resulting in a smoother, creamier bowl of matcha.  Beyond creating beautiful microfoam, the graceful curvature of the tines allows them to flex naturally during use, improving durability while lending the whisk its sculptural form.

The handle size is also carefully chosen to feel comfortable and lightweight in the hand, while still allowing the whisk to open into a full, elegant bloom.  This requires careful selection of material stock and additional detail work, all of which contributes to the final balance of the piece.  To further reflect the artistry involved, our chasen feature two coloured threads, another detail that requires additional care during production.
