I tried other tapes, this one felt the most comfortable for me and find that I sleep better and through the night. I feel more rested in the morning. The small opening is great to have. The tape adhesive is excellent, it stays on all night. I do use a little lip balm but not too much to ensure the tape sticks well.
I m very happy with this mouth tape.
If you find the tape too be too strong I recommend padding it a couple times in your forearm to reduce the amount of stick but honestly I find it perfect because holds jaw and mouth in position during the night.
